The disembodied Voice

So long held dear –

Communication

From afar –

Each Syllable and Word

Recalled –

Love’s Labors these

When Bodies separate –

Reunion puts a Face on Love

Changes Space and Time –

Adds Dimension – Touch

More Feeling to a Phrase

 Rounding out Reality

Makes Past and Future

Into Here and Now –

Transforming Promise

Into Vow.
