Keeping sacred Time
In perfect Harmony
Maiden Moons rise
With the Twilight –
Slender silver Curve
In a pale blue Sky
Round Mother grows
Shining bright –
Full Moon glows
In Gown of silver-white
Atropos* decreases
Light recedes –
Stars grow clear
A Gibbous Crone succeeds.
*Atropos: One of the three Fates in Greek Mythology who influences human
destiny. Atropos is known as the
Inexorable, and carries the shears that cut the thread of life.
