Intention carries us

From Cradle to Grave

 Love takes the Space between –

Dear Heart

Find your Center

Your sweet saltwater Sea –

Clear and o’er-brimming

 Sparks of Love

Burst into Flame

White Tears –Red dust

Black Sun in my Throat

Throbbing like a Shaman’s Drum

Through the Age of Chaos

When Centers give way –

They cannot hold

Boundaries collapse

And Walls also

Against this Golden Flood alchemical

Into a Heart on Fire.

I move away from here to Her

Seeking inner Realms of Power

Distant Shores of Peace

In the Night sometimes only I am

Forgetting – fearing – crying to be heard

Remembrance embraces me again –

I hear and then begin to listen

I hearken to the Voices in the Wind

The murmuring Sound of the Rain

Storms recede – I remain

The celestial Mind of an earthbound Dream.

This portrait mirrors our own destiny

Fill with Thy light our bodies in this frame

That we exalt Thy peerless excellence

Design within our hearts’ eternal flame

Allegiance, balance, faith and deference

Paint joy and kindness on a canvas clear

Assigning line and form with expert skill

Allow a wondrous palette to appear

Against Thy splendid landscape of good will

Glory so great no gallery can hold –

We spring to life and break the ancient mold.

I am a Poet

In a soul-less Age

Relentless Rage

Intolerable Images

Dim the Eyes of

 Would-be Heroes

I am a Poet

In a loveless Age –

Out of Time

Out of Place

Where manufactured Media flows

 From Factories of Mediocrity

We Assemble

Like Beasts at the Trough

Awaiting imminent Slaughter

Who can heed

A Poet’s Voice amid the Din?

Who will listen –

Who comprehend?

The Depth of our Descent

So soon and close upon us?

The green, fecund Earth

Unspeakably dear

Howls and shakes in Desperation

Wounded beyond Recognition

We are falling

Off the Horizon again –

Sailing over the Edge

On Ships of Cruelty and Ignorance.

Within the psyche

Lives a Being –

The exuberant Masculine

Who believes in Good

Who is certain and sure

Who is also wise

And unafraid of death –

Some call Him the Warrior Self

But, truly, it is the Spirit Self

A young Spirit

Who, regardless of being tormented

Wounded and exiled

Continues to Love –

Because this is the Red Road

To Self-healing, Self-mending –

This is the Way to Soul.

In Gaia's Nest

A Serpent turns

Languorously undulating

Abundantly surging

Among Blossoms infinite

The Flowers of all Nations –

She knows her Self

Sacred yet vilified

Mythic Mediator

Of Land and Sky –

Her Form

Eternally re-born 

Among deep Roots

Of the great World Tree

When opposites meet

Marry and merge

Power travels amid

 Earth and Cloud –

Where Scales once lay

Where smooth Skin shed –

Now Eagle’s Wing

Ascends instead.

Listen to your Self –

Your shadowed Soul

Singing to you often

In a small Voice soft

Attune to the Helix –
A Radiosonic Matrix –

Song of the next Age

Spinning into Grace 

Look to the new Time

A Vision that glows

On the far Edge of Destiny

I knew not what to be or do –

How to escape – where to go

Finally surrendering all that I did

I went where I truly lived

Mind and Body are merely Tools

To create a Soul worthwhile

Mind and Body made no Case –

Lock, Stock and Barrel

 I moved into Grace!
