In Teotihuacan, butterflies were the souls of warriors killed in
combat or sacrificed after battle. The butterfly symbol is very common in Teotihuacan, to the point that it is interpreted as militaristic propaganda, an ever-present reminder of martial duty. This tradition was passed along to the Mexica and, more tenuously, the later Maya.

Yellow Solar
Warrior
A true Warrior is
peaceful
Yet prepared for any
contingency –
Intelligence renders
her fearless
In a fearsome age
Her vision pierces
the folly of war
She has witnessed
its terrible fury
She knows, therefore,
The Primary use of healing
and compassion
To neutralize the
frenzy of chaos –
War enriches the
makers of weaponry
Designed for death
and destruction -
In the name of the
Goddess
Where is the
intelligence in that?

Kin 256: Yellow Solar Warrior
I pulse in order to question
Realizing fearlessness
I seal the output of intelligence
With the solar tone of intention
I am guided by the power of free will.
Confusion is an illusory mind-created dilemma meant to be overcome through evolution.*
