Sukkot begins today, the 7-day Jewish festival.  Sukkot means "booth" or "temporary dwelling".
This festival commemorates the 40-year period during which God ordered Jews to live in the desert before they could enter the Promised Land.  33 is the number of the initiate and number of heavens in the Buddhist cosmology.  Today is Gamma, day of the Mystery.  "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.  It is the source of all true art and science."  (Albert Einstein).*
