Good day to study the Tzolkin.  Each side of the binary pattern consists of 26 units = 52.  Adding the numbers in sets of four, beginning with the corners and working inward, we find that the sums are always 28.  This figure times 13 (the number of 52 divided by 4) gives us a total of 364, the number of days in the 13-Moon year, illustrating how the 13 Moon calendar is embedded in the Tzolkin.*
