Red Self-Existing Skywalker

 

 I can almost hear

My Soul walking –

She was crippled – lame

Limping about –

Slouching toward Bethlehem

In Grief and Pain

Separated from Splendor –

Spending Days cramped  

In over-crowded Places –

In small guarded Spaces

 

Now Signs and Symbols shout –

Translating the Unconscious

Into Consciousness –

Crushing the overarching Power

Of the Patriarchy

To miss the Point entirely

 

Oh, my waking, walking Soul – my Guide –

Let us prance and dance with Ease

Like a fat elm in a strong Breeze –

My Heart beats to the Rhythm of your Stride.

Oh Muse, oh Husband, may you be the same

That I need only look to one for All

Allow my Marriage to yield more than Name

As Adam cherished Eve before the Fall

Dear Muse, dear Husband, if it be our will

May well our Union celebrated be

While we raise Progeny of Ink and Quill

Prolific now but moreso presently

We’ll populate the earth with measured Feet –

Not Human merely but also in Verse

Verse whose noble Lines inspire not Deceit –

But Love and Honor o’er the Universe

 

When so my musing husbanded shall be –

None other would I bow before but Thee.

In a verdant Abundance of

In the West thin Lips obscure wide Hips

Speech distracts from rolling

Vibrations in curvaceous heavenly Bodies

 

 An elemental pelvic Language

Calls to the dancing Queens –

Serena—Jehanne—Dalia--Salome --

Zahra—Scheherazade—Kleopatra--

 

Mesmerized by whirling beads and silk ---

Reason seeks refuge in Desires of the Heart

To Rest in the Wombs of Women

 

Ethereal Priestesses float unseen

Intoning a Poetry of Completion

Psyche and Eros marry Lip to Hip

The joyous Child is born a dancing Queen.

Our Moon – a subtle Sphere

Constantly inconstant

Appearing but to disappear---

 

Reminding us of

Faith unseen

Behind the shifting

Shapes of Things

 

Red Moon ---Blue Night

Pale Light

Silhouette in

Silver White

 

Great Tides swell

Beneath her Spell –

Waters rise and fall --

 The Force of this

Her magnetic Call

Invites the Soul

To Answer

Orbiting around myself –

An Ogre sat

Upon my Heart

Devouring my Passion –

 

Then came You –

With Star bright

Eyes – your

 

Heart warm with Love

Wrapped like a Gift

From Above.

Unearth the Labyrinthine

Ways invisible

 

Reject me not

Nor spurn me

Do not fear –

Draw near

 

Forgive my Urgency

Insurgency –

No Thing compares
