Unbearable to endure

So the Time of the Cosmic Human emerges

 

Transforming Intelligence into Consciousness

This new Being comprehends

Time and Space within Movement and Measure

 

Within the Cosmic Human beats the Cosmic Heart

Heart of Earth/ Heart of Sky

Extending Love to Earth and all sentient Forms

 

Far-seeing Sages, Philosophers, Mystics

Seek to lift the Mind of Humanity –

Cosmic Humans are these - from the Heart of the Galaxy.

Blue Crystal Night 

Ask me to stem the great Ocean’s Tide 

Ask me to halt the Moon’s silver Ride 

Ask me to bless the Blind with clear Sight 

Ask me to banish all Darkness from Night 

Ask me to heal the Wounds of the World 

Ask me to find the Oyster’s sweet Pearl 

Ask me to live without Water or Air 

Ask me to cut off my Breath or my Hair 

But ask me not ever to cease loving you 

That is the one thing I never could do.

  In Sacred Design

 

My Classroom –

An ever-darkening Sky

Full with Intimations of Infinity –

Blessed Fruit of silver Blossoms rife

Adorning the Cosmic Tree of Life.

Pyramids of Stone –

Heart’s Fire –- Dust unto

Dust – Immortal Toltec Gods

Creation’s ancient Glyph & Tone –

Sacred flaming Gifts to Quetzalcoatl –

Plumed Serpent – Symbol of a Shaman’s Crown

 

 

I climb

The moaning

 Wind to the Summit –

Phoenix rising from the Ashes –

Past Lives renewed and incarnated –

Who climbed these Heights, never to descend?

 

 

 Who

Has prayed

Here to gods of Fear

 And Desperation?  Echoes hum

Sung by Souls gone long ago to Rest –

 Gentle Patience pulses in silent shining Stars

Watching the dubious Progress of Man –

 How miniscule are these grand

 Structures to the wide

 Eyes of Heaven?

The Sun or

Moon?

One female – one male

Calm and slow

In a soul-less Age –

 

Relentless Rages

Intolerable Images

Rise to dim the Eyes

 Of would-be Heroes –

 

I am a Poet

In a loveless Age –

Out of Time and Place –

Where manufactured Media flows

 From Factories of Mediocrity

 

We Assemble

Like Beasts at the Trough

Sensing imminent Slaughter –

Who can hear

A Poet’s Voice amid the Din?

 

Who will listen –

Who comprehend

The Depth of our Descent

So close and soon upon us?

 

The green, fecund Earth

Unspeakably dear

Howls in Desperation –

Wounded beyond Recognition

 

We are falling

Off the Horizon again –

Sailing over the Edge

On Ships of Ignorance and Fear.
