Soul's Call

Repudiates Rest --

Its Echo insistent –

An Unrelenting Cry

 

 A Disquieting Hum

Quivering

In the Heart’s Drum 

Soul's Voice  

Declines Silence –

Until we hear

And then begin to listen

 

It moves us

And behooves us to move

Into the World –

Compelling us to excellence

 

Soul's Call  

Summons Risk and Fall –

 Journeys without Distance

From Fear to Love

 

Soul's Voice 

 Summons Dreams and Visions

Requires Variety

Ritual and Sobriety

In order to be healed 

And heard again.
