Soul's Call

Repudiates Rest –

It is an insistent Echo –

An Unrelenting Cry

 A Disquieting Hum

Quivering

In the Heart’s deep Drum

Soul's Voice  

Declines Silence –

Until we hear

And then begin to listen

It moves us

And behooves us to move

Into the World –

 Soul's Call  

Summons Risk and Fall –

 Journeys without Distance

From Fear to Love

Soul's Voice 

 Summons Vision

Requires Variety

Ritual and Sobriety

In order to be healed 

Heeded and heard again.
