White Galactic
Wizard
Deep within
The planetary Core
A Serpent calls
For Vision and Power
Her fluid Form
Transforms daily
Among deep Roots
Of the great World
Tree
She ascends
Amid Abundance
Into leafy Branches –
The Flowers of all
Nations
Finally She perceives
Timeless Harmonics
An endless Cosmos
Paradise in each
Dimension
Transfigured –
reformed
She knows herself to
be
Heaven and Earth’s
Intermediary
The Shaman arises
As Wingèd Serpent -
Polarities embodied
Married and merged.

Lucy Thompson
Lucy Thompson (1856–1932) is an author known for the book, To the American Indian: Reminiscences of a Yurok Woman. Written in 1916, the book is intended to preserve her people's stories. The book received the American Book Award decades later in 1992. Thompson was born in the Klamath River village of Pecwan. Outside the book she is known to have come from "Yurok aristocracy" and to be married to Milton "Jim" Thompson. She intended to tell the stories of her people that were not being told by others, and to make others better understand her people and perspective, although she also criticized "whites" for practices like over-fishing. Thompson opined that violent acts towards indigenous Californians were deliberate deeds of genocide, and she expressed concern for the continued stewardship of Klamath River salmon.*

I harmonize in order to enchant
Modeling receptivity
I seal the output of timelessness
With the galactic tone of integrity
I am guided by the power of endlessness.
We are in a process of cosmic memory retrieval.*
