Scorpion is the totem animal for the Lunar Moon, signifying transmutation, repulsion of negative or polarizing energies, and rebirth.  Today there are 130 days remaining until the end of the Gregorian year (this is half a spin or 260-day cycle until 2012).  On this day (1st day of the LUNAR Moon) in 1966 Lunar Orbiter I took the first photograph of Earth from orbit around the Moon.*
